SYNOPSIS

A woman's journey to help her estranged father who has recently become homeless in Chicago finds them both at a turning point in their lives.

"HOME is everything I love about Chicago storytelling. These are complicated people with a complicated relationship existing in the uncompromising and unyielding and craggy beauty emitted from the Windy City. The performances and style of shooting give us an intimate look into these lives without gloss or flinch. Just like Chicago." - David Dastmalchian (These Creatures Here Below, Ant Man, The Dark Night)

Home, a pungent dramedy about the reunion between a father/daughter duo, both on the verge of homelessness, serves as a terrific showcase for two of Chicago’s finest theater actors (Francis Guinan and Carolyn Hoerdemann, who also co-wrote); when actors can cause your heart to lurch by interacting with a tomato—you know you’re in the presence of art.“- Michael Smith, Timeout Chicago
