Eve Rydberg is an actor, director, producer and photographer based in Chicago. She is the Co-Artistic Director of The Good Night Ladies, an interdisciplinary arts collective committed to making work with a feminine focus and also works as an artistic curator at The Den Theatre.
As an actor, Chicago Critic says "A tour de force performance...This lady gives one of the finest performances I’ve witnessed on a Chicago stage!" A graduate of The Theatre School at De Paul University, her theatre work has been seen at The Den Theatre, Mary Arrchie, Collaboration, The Arc Theatre, as well as the New Orleans and Asheville Fringe Festivals.
Her on camera work includes Like the Clouds (nominated for a Young Directors Award in Cannes), a lead role in the upcoming indie feature Banana Season, directed Sanghoon Lee, co-starring James Kyson (Heroes) and Pancho Moler (American Horror Story, 31), Make Out Party, which she starred in and produced along side Writer/Director Emily Esperanza, as well as numerous national commercials and print campaigns.
Eve's directing credits include La Lune De Femme, a Punk-Pagan Ritual (New Orleans Fringe, Asheville Fringe), curation for the annual CUT! An Evening of Short Films (The Den Theatre), and VAGINA, an all-lady arts showcase (The Den Theatre, Red Tape Theatre). She currently has a short film (Make Out Party) and a web series (The Apartment) in post-production.
As a photographer, she shoots mostly analogue on her Nikon 35AF. Her work has been featured in Sugar Magazine.
